Israel Baptist Church (IBC) Missionary Ministry – This ministry seeks to reach the world with the gospel through service to those in need. The IBC Missionary Ministry offers support and care to anyone in our church family and our community so that they may know the love of God. This is accomplished through numerous community service “Outreach” projects including ministering to the Healing and Recovering, 85 Plus Seniors, New Members Connection Outreach and Substance Abuse Outreach; supporting families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays; providing meals and supplies for the House of Ruth Women’s Shelter and men’s shelters; collecting and distributing supplies for Howard University Boarder Babies, Covenant House, and The Elizabeth House; collecting coats for the homeless; and providing financial contributions as well as active participation in the Lott Carey Foreign Ministry, Women in Service Everywhere (WISE), DC Baptist Convention & Vicinity, Lott Carey Convention, and Progressive National Baptist Convention (PNBC). This ministry also provides continuous support to events and programs of the Missionary Ministries of our neighboring churches.
