Givelify Set Up Instructions -Israel Baptist Church

For donations directly from the IBC website, proceed to step #2 below. 

For donations from a mobile device, download the free Givelify mobile donation app from the

App Store (iphone) or Google Play (Android).

Then, open the app and follow these step-by-step instructions to make your first donation.

1. Locate your organization in the app
   • If you are within a 2-mile radius, you can use the Nearby tab:
     • Find Israel Baptist Church, Washington, DC on the GPS
     • Tap on the icon that represents Israel Baptist Church then go to step #1.3.

1.2. To search for Israel Baptist Church:

• Tap the Search tab at the top of your screen.
• Select Places of Worship.
• Start entering Israel Baptist Church into the spaces provided and stop entering when you see the icon that represents Israel Baptist Church.

• Tap Israel Baptist Church in the list of results.

1.3. On the Israel Baptist Church app profile, tap the green Give button.

2. To complete your first donation, you will need to create an account. Follow these steps:
   • On the popup, tap Sign Up or if at the website, click on  icon in the upper left corner
   • Choose Sign-in with Facebook or Sign Me Up by E-Mail.
   • Signing up by e-mail:
     • Enter your name, e-mail address, and password into the spaces provided.
     • Tap/click the green Sign Me Up button.
     • An e-mail will be sent to the email address you provided with an activation link.  To activate your account, click the link in the email.
     • In the app, tap Continue.

• Now that you have created an account, you will be able to complete your contribution.

3. Select the amount you would like to contribute, or tap Other to enter a different amount. 

4. Select a contribution category, or Other and tap/click “Add Memo” to enter the description(s) of contribution category and the amount. 

5. Tap/click Give.
   • Follow these steps:
     • Tap/click the green Give Now
     • When prompted with a reminder about your activation e-mail, tap/click Cancel.
     • Securely enter your payment information in the spaces provided.
   • Complete your contribution.
